# benchpower

> A DIY project to build a simple benchtop power supply using a PSU.

## Project structure

* `case`: here you can find all files you need to build your **benchpower**. You can open `dwg` files using a CAD software like AutoCAD, the `dxf` versions are available in the same directory and can be opened using for example Inkscape or any compatible software.
* `references`: reference images useful during the designing process.
* `images`: final assembly, tools, materials, step by step images.

## Tools and materials

* Something to cut the wood, like a laser cutter.
* 8 mm poplar plywood.
* (eight) M5 square nut with a side of 8 mm.
* (eight) M5 bolt with an hex head and a length of 20 mm.
* (four) M3 insert.
* A wrench to tighten the bolts.
* A power supply unit.
