# StartupSounds 

A [ResoniteModLoader](https://github.com/resonite-modding-group/ResoniteModLoader) mod for [Resonite](https://resonite.com/) that plays startup music. Finally, something to do while you load your mods!

## Installation

1. Install [ResoniteModLoader](https://github.com/resonite-modding-group/ResoniteModLoader).

1. Download your [OS's version](https://github.com/dfgHiatus/StartupSounds/releases/latest) of this mod from the releases tab, and place it in your `rml_mods` folder. This folder should be at `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Resonite\rml_mods` for a default install. You can create it if it's missing, or if you launch the game once with ResoniteModLoader installed it will create the folder for you.

1. Keep `StartupSounds.dll` and the `startup_sounds` folder in your `rml_mods` folder.

1. Place `ManagedBass.dll` and `bass.dll` into your Resonite install folder. This folder should be at `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Resonite` for a default install.

1. Start the game. If you want to verify that the mod is working you can check your Resonite logs, or listen in for audio. I've included one sound track, credits below.

If you want to change the sound played on startup, drop audio files of your choice into your `rml_mods\startup_sounds` folder. This folder should be at `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Resonite\rml_mods\startup_sounds` for a default install. You can create it if it's missing and use modconfig to choose the sound in question.
