# Mastering Markdown
Markdown is a lightweight markup language with plain-text-formatting syntax, created in 2004 by John Gruber with Aaron Swartz. Markdown is often used to format readme files, for writing messages in online discussion forums, and to create rich text using a plain text editor. [(Wikipedia)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markdown)
Markdown file extention is `.md` or `.markdown`
**Let's see how to write it!**

>- Also you can have a [link](http://google.com) with this format: `[the-text](the-url)`
## List
>You can create ordered list like this:
```
1. one
2. two
3. three
or
1. one
2. two
3. three
```
>both will generate same result:
1. one
1. two
1. three
1. addition:
1. add two spaces before number for sub-list
2. awesome right!
>You can use `-` or `*` before your list to make bullet list
```
- I'm handsome
- I'm smart
- I'm nice
- I'm definitely narcissistic
```
>will generate:
- I'm handsome
- I'm smart
- I'm nice
- I'm definitely narcissistic
