# CheckVersion
Checks for Unity updates
###### Help > Links > Releases...
- The top search box filters the list (it can also be used to insert a revision number and display information about it)
- **A** launch Download Assistant for selected release
- button with version show info about selected release
- **Update is available** updates this utility to the latest version from GitHub
Right (Info) panel
- Button with version and revision number opens the download page
- **Open in Hub** launch installation via Unity Hub
- **Release Notes** opens the corresponding page
- **Torrent** downloads and launch a torrent file
- **Win**, **OSX**, **Linux** toggle the bottom list of components to download
- Clicking on the component button copies the download link to the clipboard (for example, for downloading via the download manager)
