# osm2svg4art

Retrieves roads and paths from [OpenStreetMap](https://www.openstreetmap.org/) via the [Overpass API](https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Overpass_API), then [simplifies](http://mourner.github.io/simplify-js/) them ahead of conversion to an artsy color-coded SVG representation for plotting on an [AxiDraw](https://axidraw.com).
