## 🧑💻 Getting Started
### Prerequisites
- Node.js and npm installed
- MongoDB instance (local or cloud)
### Installation
1. **Clone the repository**
```bash
git clone https://github.com/Dp20703/inotebook
cd inotebook
```
2. **Install dependencies**
```bash
npm install
cd backend
npm install
```
3. **Set up environment variables**
Create a `.env` file in the root directory with the following:
```env
PORT=5000
MONGO_URI=your_mongodb_connection_string
JWT_SECRET=your_jwt_secret_key
```
4. **Run the application**
```bash
# Run backend
npm run server
# In a new terminal tab, run frontend
npm start
```
