   ~/.emacs.d/auctex/style/leops.el

The leops.cls file should get symlinked to

  TEXMFHOME/tex/latex/leops/leops.cls

where TEXMFHOME is whatever is returned from

  kpsewhich -var-value=TEXMFHOME

On my mac, this is /Users/leo/Library/texmf
