# OLCS Address Service
### Synopsis
The OLCS Address Service is a component within the Online Licensing and Compliance System developed as part of the OLCS project for the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVSA).
This API uses takes a postcode and searches against a database, built using the Address Service ETL scripts, and returns the addresses within the postcode area.
The service provides a postcode look up for Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The data sources are Address Base and Pointer Data. The information contained in these data sources has variances from the Post Office list.

There are no known issues with the OLCS Address Service.
