# Dynamsoft Label Recognizer samples for the Java edition
This repository contains multiple samples that demonstrate how to use the [Dynamsoft Label Recognizer](https://www.dynamsoft.com/label-recognition/overview/) Java Edition.
## Requirements
- Operating systems:
- Windows 7, 8, 10
- Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012
- Linux x64 (Ubuntu 14.04.4+ LTS, Debian 8+, etc.)
- JDK 1.7 and above
- Environment: Eclipse 3.7 and above
## Samples
| Sample | Description |
|---------------|----------------------|
|HelloWorld | This is a Java sample that illustrates the simplest way to recognize text from an image file with Dynamsoft Label Recognizer SDK. |
|PassportMRZReading | This Java sample detects the machine readable zone of a passport, recognize the text, and parse the data into surname, given name, nationality, passport number, issuing country or organization, date of birth, sex/gender, and passport expiration date. |
