## Requirement

- libssh >= 0.6.0
- ed25519 keys support is available from [libssh 0.7.0](https://www.libssh.org/2015/05/11/libssh-0-7-0/).

## Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

```ruby
gem 'libssh'
```

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install libssh

## Usage

### With SSHKit

See [example/sshkit.rb](example/sshkit.rb) .

### With Capistrano
sshkit must be v1.9.0 or later due to [SSHKit::Backend::ConnectionPool API change](https://github.com/capistrano/sshkit/releases/tag/v1.9.0.rc1).

## Development

After checking out the repo, run `bin/setup` to install dependencies. You can also run `bin/console` for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.

To install this gem onto your local machine, run `bundle exec rake install`. To release a new version, update the version number in `version.rb`, and then run `bundle exec rake release`, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the `.gem` file to [rubygems.org](https://rubygems.org).
