# gtksourceview-squirrel 

This GtkSourceView language schema provides syntax highlighting support for [Squirrel](http://www.squirrel-lang.org/), a fast and lightweight game scripting language and VM originally based on [Lua](http://www.lua.org/). This should be compatible with all editors based on GtkSourceView 2.0 or 3.0, such as [Gedit](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gedit) and [Geany](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geany).

## Installation

Simply copy `squirrel.lang` to any of the following directories:

 * `~/.local/share/gtksourceview-2.0/language-specs`

 * `~/.local/share/gtksourceview-3.0/language-specs`

 * `/usr/share/gtksourceview-2.0/language-specs`

 * `/usr/share/gtksourceview-3.0/language-specs`

Then restart your editor(s).
