# Patent Research
Using JupyterNotebooks and Pandas to analye data around patents to uncover any stories that lie within 3 decades of collected data. Topics that will be explored correlate to COVID, and other recent economical events that could have influenced patents.
## Information
The patent datasets were collected from [PatentsView](https://patentsview.org/download/data-download-tables), the primary distributor of open source patent datasets. Having a look at the gitignore file will help you know which datasets I used.
The employment and population datasets where collected from [Datahub](https://datahub.io/core/employment-us#resource-aat1), and you can find further information about Datahub on their website.
The online job postings was found via Kaggle, and can be found [here](https://www.kaggle.com/datasets/madhab/jobposts).
