# Anti-Capitalist Climate Strike Software Licence (ACCSSL)

This is a licence for anti-capitalist software, released for free use by

individuals and organizations that do not operate by capitalist principles or

threaten to accelerate climate change through their actions.

## Where this came from

This licence combines the

[Anti-Capitalist Software License (ACSL)](https://anticapitalist.software/) with

the [Climate Strike License (CSL)](https://climatestrike.software/). Please read

about those licences to understand why this one exists.

## How to use the licence

To use the licence in your project, follow the steps below:

1. Add the [licence](LICENCE) to the root level of your project

1. Update the `[year]` and `[copyright holders]` fields at the top of the

   licence

1. (optional) Attach the badge to your project by pasting the following snippet

   into your project's README.md:
