# Operational models encyclopedia

Numerical weather prediction models  (NWPM) are a vital tool for weather forecasting. Yet, the gears from this numerical guidance is often a mysterious “black box”. Thus, this web "encyclopedia" condenses generic, as well as specifics information about NWPM. Ensemble Prediction systems and Marine Wave models are included as well.
