# Sights of Chicago
A small mapping application for the Udacity Front-end nanodegree using knockout.js and the Google Maps Javascript API and the New York Times Article Search API.
## Setup
Prerequisites:
* node (for npm)
* gulp
* bower
* Api keys for Google Maps and New York Times Article Search
Setup:
1. run `npm install` in the project root
2. run `bower install` in the project root
3. replace "APIKEY" in `index.html` with your Google Maps API key
4. replace "APIKEY" in `app.js` with your New York Times Article Search API key
5. run `gulp` in the project root
6. open `index.html` in a web browser
