# Ich muss mal!

Visualizing Berlin's public bathrooms in [datasette](https://datasette.io). This is a small experiment to learn

datasette. It uses Berlins open data for [public

bathrooms](https://daten.berlin.de/datensaetze/standorte-der-%C3%B6ffentlichen-toiletten), imports that into

[sqlite](https://sqlite.org) using [Apache POI](https://poi.apache.org) and then serves it via datasette.

## Running

You have to have Java 17 and a somewhat modern version of python on your system. Then type

```

./gradlew serve

```

After a little while you can to go http://127.0.0.1:8001 and explore the data.
