# XiaoDingDong
This project is a web-based ordering system for Food & Beverage establishments, built using the Laravel framework. It enables customers to browse menus, place orders, and manage payments seamlessly. The system also provides admin functionality to manage orders, menu items, and track sales data. Features include:
- User authentication (login/register)
- Menu browsing and filtering
- Cart and order management
- Admin dashboard for managing orders and menus (CRUD)
Built with Laravel for backend operations, this project demonstrates a robust, scalable solution for the F&B industry.

Copy the contents of .env.example into a new file called .env. Fill out the appropriate credentials for the database in lines of code. If you do not have a database, then you need to create it first.
```
DB_CONNECTION=mysql
DB_HOST=127.0.0.1
DB_PORT=3306
DB_DATABASE=xiaodingdong
DB_USERNAME=xiaodingdong
DB_PASSWORD=
```
Run the following commands:
```
composer install
php artisan migrate:fresh --seed
php artisan storage:link
php artisan key:generate
```
Run the server using php artisan serve, and navigate to localhost:8000/.
