India's Marital Status
======================
Undoubtedly marriages in India are one of the much celebrated events, dramatically evoking every possible social obligation, kinship bond, traditional value, impassioned sentiment, and economic resource. In the arranging and conducting of weddings, the complex permutations of Indian social systems best display themselves. Thus for many individuals, marriage becomes a great watershed in life, marking the transition to adulthood. But with changing times, do people consider marriages a stepping tone of life? Do we still have a societally stringent age group of getting married? Do we still need a companion to support us in our dotage? In an attempt to answer such questions, here is a small data visualization to further understand India's Marital Status.
