# MusicBotDiscord
## Overview

## Getting Started
### Prerequisites
- Node.js (latest version recommended)
- A Discord Bot Token ([Guide to creating a Discord Bot](https://discordjs.guide/preparations/setting-up-a-bot-application.html))
- FFMPEG installed and available in your system's PATH ([FFMPEG Installation Guide](https://ffmpeg.org/download.html))
### Installation
1. Clone the repository:
```bash
git clone https://github.com/gituser12981u2/MusicBotDiscord.git
```
then
```bash
cd MusicBotDiscord
```
2. Install dependencies
```bash
npm install
```
3. Install FFMPEG:
- macOS:
```bash
brew install ffmpeg
```
- Windows:
Follow the instructions on [FFMPEG download page](https://ffmpeg.org/download.html) to download the executable and add it to your PATH.
- Linux:
```bash
sudo apt install ffmpeg
```
### Configuration
1. Copy .env.example to .env:
```bash
cp .env.example .env
```
2. Add your Discord Bot token to the .env file:
```bash
DISCORD_BOT_TOKEN=your_discord_bot_token_here
```
### Running the Bot
- Start the bot using Node.js:
```bash
npm start
```
## Commands
- !play : Play music from a URL or search for a track.
- !queue: Shows the current queue.
- !pause: Pause the current track.
- !resume: Resume playback.
- !skip: Skip to the next track in the queue.
- !disconnect: Stop playback and clear the queue.
