# FOOD AR

FoodAR is an AR-based app that enhances the dining experience by allowing customers to view 3D visualizations of Kerala dishes in real-time using smartphones or tablets. This interactive solution showcases the textures, ingredients, and presentation of traditional Kerala cuisine, making it easier for international visitors to explore the state's rich culinary heritage. Additionally, customers can submit reviews, further enriching the dining experience.Key Features of the Project
● **3D Visualization of Kerala Dishes**: Realistic three-dimensional models of
traditional Kerala dishes for an immersive experience.
● **360-Degree View**: Interactive rotation of dish models to explore
presentation from all angles.
● **Ingredient Insights**: Detailed descriptions of ingredients to help foreigners
understand Kerala's unique culinary elements.
● **AR-Based Interaction**: Simple scanning of markers to display dishes on
smartphones or tablets.
● **Customer Reviews**: A feedback system to enhance the dining experience
and provide insights for future visitors.

## How to use ?
1. Download and print the [Image Target](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Fy-2laU7UrWH8JR6WG3rCsG0lqenC1AUqYepix219aQ/edit?usp=sharing)
2. Download the app from the link given [FoodAR](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1L0jq6ydokkleIN29a10UgWg71FW7jZaw?usp=drive_link) app is currently build for Android users.
3. Place the image Target on a levelled and dry place.
4. Lauch the FoodAR application.
5. Click the **Scan** button and point it at the image target to display the model. Use the **Next** and **Previous** buttons to switch models, click the **Food Info** button to view the name, description, ingredients, and price, rotate button to rotate the models.
6. Users can select Veg or Non-Veg to view a list of dishes. Clicking a food item and scanning the image target displays a 3D model of the dish, showcasing its texture, ingredients, and presentation in real-time.
7. Users can submit reviews, sharing their feedback on dishes. This helps enhance the dining experience by providing insights for both customers and restaurant owners.
