# Time for *P* values to P off?
A presentation on *P* values and effect sizes.
This talk was given at the Thornton/Orengo joint group retreat in June 2019.
## Installation
For those not wishing to test the limits of their sanity, just view the pre-run `presentation.ipynb` notebook [here](https://nbviewer.jupyter.org/github/harryscholes/p-values-and-effect-sizes-presentation/blob/master/presentation.ipynb).
For those wishing to run `presentation.ipynb`:
* Install [Julia](https://julialang.org/) and [Jupyter](https://jupyter.org/)
* Clone this repo and `cd` into it
* Start Julia and enter `] instantiate .`
* Start Jupyter and open the notebook
* Pray
