# Instagram Clone with Laravel Sail and Vue.js
This project is an Instagram clone built using PHP Laravel Sail as the backend and Vue.js for the frontend. It mimics some of the core functionality of Instagram, allowing users to upload photos, follow other users, and like and comment on posts.

## Getting Started
Follow these steps to get the Instagram clone up and running on your local development environment.

### Pre-requisites
Make sure you have Docker installed on your system.
Installation
Clone the repository:

```bash
git clone https://github.com/helioLJ/laravel-instagram-clone.git
```
Navigate to the project directory:

```bash
cd laravel-instagram-clone
```
Copy the .env.example file to .env:

```bash
cp .env.example .env
```
Start the Docker containers using Laravel Sail:

```bash
./vendor/bin/sail composer install
./vendor/bin/sail up -d
```

Run the database migrations and seed the database:

```bash
./vendor/bin/sail artisan db:seed
```

Install the frontend dependencies and build the assets:

```bash
./vendor/bin/sail npm install
./vendor/bin/sail npm run dev
```

Your Instagram clone should now be accessible at http://localhost.

Register for an account and start using the Instagram clone to upload photos, follow users, like posts, and comment on content.
