# Helm Bug Demonstration
This Repository contains test material to demonstrate Helm bug when deploying ScaledObject entities (Keda).
When a `ScaledObject` is updated directly with kubectl, the `spec.maxReplicaCount` is well updated.
When a `ScaledObject` is updated through helm, the `spec.maxReplicaCount` is not updated at all.

## Prerequisites: Keda
```
helm repo add kedacore https://kedacore.github.io/charts
helm repo update
helm install keda kedacore/keda --namespace keda --create-namespace
```
## Demo with `kubectl`

Conclusion: After re-applying the yaml manifests, the `ScaledObject` has been correctly updated and `spec.maxReplicaCount` is set to 10 as requested.

Conclusion: After re-applying the Helm Chart, the `ScaledObject` should have `spec.maxReplicaCount` updated to the original value (10), but the value is not updated (5).
