The **"Guess the Number Game"** is a simple web application developed as part of **Task 2** during my **internship** with **Prodigy Infotech**. It provides an interactive and engaging experience where players attempt to guess a randomly generated number by the system. After each guess, the game offers real-time feedback, indicating whether the guess was too high or too low, while also keeping track of the number of attempts. Designed with a focus on frontend aesthetics and a robust Spring Boot backend to handle game logic, this project combines fun gameplay with smooth functionality for an enhanced user experience..

## Usage

### Start the Game
1. Enter a number in the input field and click "Submit Guess" to check if your guess is correct.
2. The game will inform you whether your guess is too high or too low.
3. Continue guessing until you find the correct number.

### Start New Game
- Click the "Start New Game" button to reset the game and try again with a new random number.

## Installation

### 1. Clone the Repository
```bash
git clone https://github.com/hey-its-d2t2/Guessing-Game.git
cd Guessing-Game
```
### 2. Set Up the Backend
Navigate to the backend directory and run the Spring Boot application:
```bash
cd backend
./mvnw spring-boot:run
```
### 3. Open the Application
Open your browser and visit **http://localhost:8080/guessing-game** to start playing the game.
