# vim-toup
## Auto capitalize ("to up" or "to uppercase") the first letter while typing
Inspired by:
[vim-auto-capitalisation](https://davidxmoody.com/vim-auto-capitalisation/)
This plugin auto capitalizes the first letter of a word when you type. It
is implemented in a non intrusive manner, meaning you have to manually add your
regular expressions and your set of auto commands in your vimrc file.
There are some builtin patterns you can use, like `toup#patterns['bof']` (match
the beginning of file) or `toup#patterns['after_punctuation']` (match after
'.!?'). But you can add your own patterns. Pull requests to include builtin
patterns are very welcomed!
