## 🧐 About 

**Codex Arcanum** is a mod that aims to expand Balatro by adding a new type of consumable card: **Alchemical Cards**!

Alchemical cards possess powerful abilities that you can use in a blind, like adding hands and discards, drawing cards, reducing the blind, and much more!

 

The are a total of **24** alchemical cards, with more coming in further updates!

The mod also adds **8 new jokers**, **4 new vouchers**, **7 new booster packs**, a **Tarot** card, and a **Spectral** card, to expand the game and allow a smoother experience with alchemical cards.



## ⬇ How to Download 

- The mod requires Steamodded. You can see info about how to use it [here](https://github.com/Steamopollys/Steamodded)

- Download the latest release of Codex Arcanum

- Extract the downloaded mod to the Mods folder (at %appdata%/Balatro/Mods)
