   Oceananigans simulation for a simple lock-exchange experiment



 



  



The domain vary from -20 to 20m in the horizontal and is 4m deep. We run the simulation with 0.1m of resolution and bounded boundaries.

The initial condition for the lock exchange is 1°C of difference between the two water masses.
