        # neovim.conf

## Installation

1. Install [neovim](https://github.com/neovim/neovim/blob/master/INSTALL.md)

2. Clone this repository to `~/.config/nvim`

3. Profit

## Getting Things Working

I did my best to make this config as plug-and-play as possible, but there are a few things you'll need to do to get everything working:

### Copilot

You will need to authenticate the Copilot plugin with the following command: `:Copilot auth`. This will open a browser window where you can authenticate with GitHub.

### GP.nvim

I have this set to use OpenAI's ChatGPT-4. You will need an API key to use this. If you don't have access to GPT-4, you can change the configuration in `lua/plugins/ai.lua` to use GPT-3 or whatever else instead.

Additionally, if you DO have a key, you will need to set up how to access the key. You can see all the supported methods [here](https://github.com/Robitx/gp.nvim#2-openai-api-key). This config is using my [password manager cli tool](https://bitwarden.com/help/cli/) to access the key. Feel free to use whatever method or tool you like.
