**G**eologic **P**robability **o**f **S**uccess

Das GPOS ist ein Maß für die - aufgrund von geologischen Gegebenheiten - abgeschätzte Erfolgschance eines 

(Bohr-) projektes. Ursprünglich aus dem KW-Sektor kommend, wird dieses Maß zunehmend auch in der Exploration

geothermischer Energie angewendet.
