## ⚙ Installation & Setup
### Prerequisites
- Node.js (v16 or higher)
- MongoDB (either local or Atlas URI)
- npm (comes with Node.js)
### Setup Instructions
1. **Clone the repository**
```bash
git clone https://github.com/jasjeev013/memoryhub.git
cd memoryhub
```
2. **Install frontend dependencies**
```bash
npm install
```
3. **Install backend dependencies**
```bash
cd backend
npm install
cd ..
```
4. **Environment Setup**
- Create a `.env` file in the `backend` directory with:
```
MONGO_URI=your_mongodb_connection_string
PORT=5000
```
5. **Running the Application**
- For development (both frontend and backend):
```bash
npm run both
```
- Alternatively, run separately:
- Frontend:
```bash
npm start
```
- Backend (in another terminal):
```bash
cd backend
nodemon index.js
```
