# dougdoug-alphabet-crew Extension (BETA)

## Description

This extension sets Twitch chat usernames as 'A Crew' or 'Z Crew'. Usernames starting with letters A-M are labeled 'A Crew', while the rest, including those starting with numbers or symbols, are labeled 'Z Crew'.

## Installation firefox

1. Download the zip file to your local machine.

2. Open Firefox and navigate to `about:debugging`.

3. Click on “This Firefox” and then on “Load Temporary Add-on.”

4. select the zip file.

## Usage

Once installed, it provides three modes to modify usernames in Twitch chat:

1. **Normal Name Mode**: Displays the original usernames without any modification.

2. **Icon Mode**: Appends a specific crew icon next to the username based on its first letter. Usernames starting with letters A-M get the 'A Crew' icon, while the rest, including those starting with numbers or symbols, get the 'Z Crew' icon.

3. **Name Change Mode**: Similar to the previous version, usernames starting with letters A-M are displayed as 'A Crew', and all others as 'Z Crew'.

## Important Notes

- The extension is currently designed for Firefox and has been tested on Twitch.

- Due to the dynamic nature of Twitch's website, the extension may require updates if Twitch updates its chat system or class names.

- Use of this extension is in compliance with Twitch's terms of service, this is subject to change at any time.
