# D3js-Elections-

Simple d3.js data vis for historical presidential election data

Things to do: 

1. Add styles to buttons, incl. active states

2. Think about a red/blue color pallette for pie charts 

3. Style display areas 

4. Add transitions for switching data sets 

5. Configure GEOjson map with data set 

6. Add tooltips for pie charts w/ percentages and total votes 

7. Add svg or png images of state flags in state display

8. Proof 2012 data set/ some numbers are off 

9. Add data sets for previous elections, 2004, 2000, 1996, 1992, 1988, 

10. Change date buttons into range slider

11. Create totals data set for other info to display, incl. candidates, totals, electoral votes
