# do-collectd-cookbook
This is the cookbook to help set up [collectd](https://www.collectd.org) quickly and repeatably, and stolen steps
from [digital oceans setup](https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-configure-collectd-to-gather-system-metrics-for-graphite-on-ubuntu-14-04).
## Platform:
The following platform families are supported:
- Ubuntu 14.04
## Usage
Go ahead and setup over rides for `node[do-collectd][graphite_server_name]` and `node[do-collectd][graphite_server_ip]`.
