# Google Search Blacklist
A Google Chrome extension which allows you to block websites from appearing within search results on www.google.com.

# Installation
1. Download the latest release from [google-search-blacklist/releases](https://github.com/jlegrone/google-search-blacklist/releases)
2. Double click the `google-search-blacklist.crx` file and allow it to install to Chrome.
Alternatively, to build from source:
1. Download the source code
2. Open chrome://extensions in Google Chrome
3. Click 'Load Unpacked Extension' and select the root extension folder
# Usage
### Blocking sites
To add a site to your blacklist, click the dropdown menu to the right of the site address on your search results page, and select **Block example.com**.
### Editing block list
To view and edit your blocked sites, visit [google.com/preferences#search-blacklist](https://www.google.com/preferences#search-blacklist).
