# Delegated Dropdown
Mobile-first delegated dropdown menus with smart positioning.
- Handles tap events
- Opens the dropdowns either up or down
- Justifies the content either to the left or the right of the parent
- `esc` closes all dropdowns
- Only one dropdown menu open at a time
Caveats:
- You may need to set `overflow: hidden`
- You need to handle `:hover` states yourself

Note that these methods are completely optional.
### dropdown.on(event)
Dropdown is an emitter. The events are:
- `open ` - when a dropdown is opened
- `close ` - when a dropdown is closed
### dropdown.position(el)
Positions a `.Dropdown` element.
If you do not position your dropdowns, you probably want to set `overflow: hidden` to prevent any accidental scroll bars.
### dropdown.open(el)
### dropdown.close(el)
### dropdown.clear()
Clears all dropdown menus.
