## Running Locally
To create your own Headshot AI app, follow these steps:
1. Clone the repository:
```
git clone https://github.com/TappedOpenSource/headshots-starter.git
```
2. Enter the `headshots-starter` directory:
```
cd headshots-starter
```
3. Install dependencies:
```bash
npm install
```
4. Create a [new Firebase project](https://firebase.google.com/) and enable firestore, storage, and serverless functions. This will require your project to be on the blaze plan:
- Rename `.env.local.example` to `.env.local` and update the value for your firebase app (Project-Settings/General/Your-Apps)

NEXT_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_API_KEY=api-key
NEXT_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_AUTH_DOMAIN=auth-domain
NEXT_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_PROJECT_ID=project-id
NEXT_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_STORAGE_BUCKET=storage-bucket
NEXT_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_MESSAGING_SENDER_ID=sender-id
NEXT_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_APP_ID=app-id
NEXT_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_MEASUREMENT_ID=measurment-id
```
5. Create a [Leap AI](https://tryleap.ai/) account
In your `.env.local` file:
- Fill in `your_api_key` with your [Leap API key](https://docs.tryleap.ai/authentication)
- Fill in `your-hosted-url/leap/train-webhook` with https://{your-hosted-url}/leap/train-webhook
- Fill in `your-hosted-url/leap/image-webhook` with https://{your-hosted-url}/leap/image-webhook
- Fill in `your-webhook-secret` with any arbitrary URL friendly string eg.`shadf892yr398hq23h`
6. Create a [Resend](https://resend.com/) account
- Fill in `your-resend-api-key` with your Resend API Key
7. Deploy Serverless Functions
```sh
npm install -g firebase-tools
firebase deploy --only functions
```
8. Start the development server:
```bash
npm run dev
```
8. Visit `http://localhost:3000` in your browser to see the running app.
