Instructions

You can download the current development source from github.

$ git clone git://github.com/jonbuffington/juicekit.git

After cloning JuiceKit from github you need to do a submodule update to pull in the patched flare library.

$ cd juicekit

$ git submodule update -i

To build the the library from source, issue the following Maven2 command:

$ MAVEN_OPTS="-Xms64m -Xmx256m" mvn clean install site

The JuiceKit for Flash/Flex library and documentation will be found in the ./flexlib/target directory after the build completes.

To use to JuiceKit for Flex library, you must include a copy of flexlib-1.2.0-SNAPSHOT.swc into your project's build path. If you are using Flex Builder 3, the simplest approach is to copy flexlib-1.2.0-SNAPSHOT.swc into your Flex project's libs directory. The other approach is to modify your Flex project's Properties > Flex Build Path > Library Path > Add SWC... and select the flexlib-1.2.0-SNAPSHOT.swc file.

The API reference documentation can be by viewed by loading doc/index.html file in your web browser. You can browse the documentation by the individual class or by package structure.

Requirements
------------
JuiceKit library for Adobe Flash/Flex (flexlib) is built as an Adobe Flex library file (SWC). The only required software is Adobe Flex SDK version 3.2.0.3958 or Flex Builder 3 Standard. To build the package from source, you will need Maven 2.0.9 or later.
