# glitter-emoji-generator :sparkles:

A Photoshop script that generates glittery text emoijis compatible with Slack and Discord. :dizzy:

## Usage

1. Download or clone the repository

2. Open `letter.psd` in Photoshop

3. Choose `File > Scripts > Browse` from the menu & select `generateGIFs.jsx`

4. Choose a text color

5. Press "OK" and the script will generate GIFs in the  `output` directory

Optionally, you can [upload the GIFs as emojis to slack](https://slack.com/help/articles/206870177-Add-custom-emoji). I recommend using [Neutral Face Emoji Tools](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/slack-emoji-tools/anchoacphlfbdomdlomnbbfhcmcdmjej) for bulk emoji uploading.

## Configure Custom Emojis

To create custom symbols not outlined below, update `symbols.json`. Each `"key": "value"` pair represents an emoji name and a character to glitterize respectively.
