# sanitize-mails

- Save .eml files from **thunderbird** by using `Save as` command in **thunderbird**

- Process them with this package to remove problematic flags for IMAP format on **dovecot** servers

- Import them to **thunderbird** (if a lot of .eml files, use  **ImportExportTools NG** add-on, by **Christopher Leidigh**)

- Move mails to the **dovecot** server with the `Move to` command in **thunderbird**
