# pdftools-guide with beer data

A vignette to using pdftools from ropensci.
The [`pdftools` package](https://docs.ropensci.org/pdftools/) can be installed from CRAN via `install.packages("pdftools")`.
Basic usage covered here:
- Read in PDF text/tables
- Split raw text in tabular format
- Combine into dataframes
- Apply across many similar PDFs
