# Yamaha PSS-30 mods n stuff
## References
* http://samvssound.com/2017/05/04/tone-control-line-yamaha-pss-30/
Some basic useful info, tells us it uses a single IC: YM2410. Similar era
keyboards used 2 chips allowing for more hacking.

YM2413 is a known pin compatible (presumably?) replacement, datasheet [available
on
archive.org](http://web.archive.org/web/20121030164545/http://cs.utsource.net/goods_files/pdf/87/87826_ETC_YM2413B.pdf)
and mirrored in this repo.
