1. **LinkedIn**: find other devs and designers and connect/message at least 1 per week but 1 per day would be better
1. **GitHub**: look for the commom beginner issue labels in my areas for contributing: `good-first-issue` or `help-wanted`
1. Start building an app using the Labels API
