| `VTK_MODULE_SOURCE_DIR` | Path to directory containing a [vtk.module][vtk.module] file. | :heavy_check_mark: |

| `VTK_MODULE_NAME` | Name of the module specified after `VTK::`. | :heavy_check_mark: |

| `VTK_MODULE_CMAKE_MODULE_PATH` | Optional path to prepend to `CMAKE_MODULE_PATH`. | |

| `VTK_KIT_FILEPATH` | Optional path to the [vtk.kit][vtk.kit] file associated with the module. | |

| `_FIND_PACKAGE_VARS` | List of variables expected by `vtk_module_find_package()`. Each variables will be configured into `vtk-config.cmake`. | |

| `VTK_BUILD_TESTING` | Build module testing directories. Default is `OFF` | |

| `VTK_MODULE_SUPERBUILD` | Build dependency listed in `VTK_MODULE_EXTERNAL_PROJECT_DEPENDENCIES` first. Default is `OFF`. | |

| `VTK_MODULE_EXTERNAL_PROJECT_DEPENDENCIES` | List of direct external project dependencies. | :heavy_check_mark: (*) |

| `VTK_MODULE_EXTERNAL_PROJECT_CMAKE_CACHE_ARGS` | Additional list of options to associate with main project. | |

| `VTK_MODULE_PYTHON_MODULE_DESTINATION` | Optional location for installing VTK modules. Ignored when `VTK_WHEEL_BUILD` is `ON` | |
