# metrics-a-must-have
A Prometheus ecosystem from a Python talk Perspective.

```bash docker-compose up```
This will expose the following services in the Following port:

```To populate metrics run the Python app:
```bash
uvicorn sample_webapp:app --reload --host 0.0.0.0 --port 6000
```and fire some requests:
```bash
for i in {1..1000}; do curl "http://localhost:6000/home"; done
```Note that you can also fire some 500 errors hitting `/fail` endpoint;
