[](LICENSE)
[](https://github.com/manziosee/cloudfuse-platform/actions)
[](https://cloudfuse.io/api/docs)
CloudFuse is a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) that enables developers to deploy applications written in multiple programming languages with minimal configuration. Inspired by platforms like Fly.io and Heroku, CloudFuse provides a global platform for running apps with built-in scaling, networking, and observability.
## Features
- **Multi-language support**: Deploy applications in Node.js, Python, Java, Go, PHP, Ruby, Rust and more
- **Framework detection**: Automatic detection of Laravel, Spring Boot, Django, Express, Rails, etc.
- **Global edge network**: Deploy applications close to your users
- **Container-based**: Docker and Kubernetes powered infrastructure
- **Developer-friendly**:
- CLI tool for managing applications
- Web dashboard for monitoring
- Comprehensive API with Swagger documentation
- **Enterprise-ready**:
- Role-based access control
- Audit logging
- Usage quotas and billing
## Getting Started
### Prerequisites
- Node.js 16+
- Docker 20.10+
- Kubernetes cluster (Minikube for local development)
- PostgreSQL 13+
- Redis 6+
### Installation
1. Clone the repository:
```bash
git clone https://github.com/manziosee/cloudfuse-platform.git
cd cloudfuse-platform
```
2. Install dependencies:
```bash
npm install
```
3. Set up environment variables:
```bash
cp .env.example .env
# Edit .env with your configuration
```
4. Start the development environment:
```bash
docker-compose up -d postgres redis
npm run start:dev
```
5. Access the API documentation at: `http://localhost:3000/api/docs`
### Deployment
For production deployment, we recommend using Kubernetes:
```bash
# Build the Docker image
docker build -t cloudfuse-platform .
# Apply Kubernetes manifests
kubectl apply -f k8s/
```
## Architecture
CloudFuse is built with a microservices architecture using:
- **Backend**: NestJS with TypeScript
- **Database**: PostgreSQL for relational data
- **Cache**: Redis for session storage and queue management
- **Container Orchestration**: Kubernetes
- **CI/CD**: GitHub Actions with automated testing
## API Documentation
The CloudFuse API is fully documented using Swagger/OpenAPI. You can access:
- Interactive documentation: `https://your-deployment.com/api/docs`
- OpenAPI spec: `https://your-deployment.com/api/docs-json`
- Swagger UI: `https://your-deployment.com/api/swagger-static`
## CLI Tool
CloudFuse provides a command-line interface for managing applications:
```bash
npm install -g @cloudfuse/cli
# Login to your CloudFuse account
cloudfuse login
# Deploy an application
cloudfuse deploy ./my-app
```

To add this README to your repository:
1. Create a new file named `README.md` in the root of your repository
2. Copy the content above into the file
3. Customize the sections with your specific information
4. Add any additional badges from services you use (CI, coverage, etc.)
5. Commit and push the changes:
```bash
git add README.md
git commit -m "Add comprehensive README"
git push origin main
```
For maximum impact, consider adding:
1. Screenshots of your platform
2. Animated GIFs demonstrating key features
3. Real code examples for common use cases
4. Badges for CI/CD status, test coverage, etc.
5. Links to detailed documentation
Would you like me to:
1. Create any additional documentation files (CONTRIBUTING.md, etc.)?
2. Suggest specific improvements to your repository structure?
3. Help with GitHub Actions workflows for CI/CD?
