Hello 👋, I'm Mateus!


An up-and-coming 🇧🇷 Brazilian 📱 Mobile 👨‍💻 Developer!


Hi, my name is **Mateus Rodrigues Costa** 🫡, aka _MateusRodCosta_. On some gaming-related contexts, I tend to prefer to use _Matias_ as a nickname due to its etymological relationship to my real name.

- 👨 I'm a 🇧🇷 Brazilian 👨‍💻 Programmer currently focusing on 📱 mobile apps development. I have the most experience with [ Flutter](https://flutter.dev/) (using [ Dart](https://dart.dev/)) but I also have been investing some time in learning [ Jetpack Compose](https://developer.android.com/jetpack/compose) (using [ Kotlin](https://kotlinlang.org/)).

-  In Flutter, I personally prefer doing state management with [Provider](https://pub.dev/packages/provider) for simple use cases and [BLoC](https://bloclibrary.dev/) for more complex apps.

- ⭐ My currently most noteworthy creations are [Save Locally: Share2Storage](https://github.com/MateusRodCosta/Share2Storage)  (a small utility made with  Jetpack Compose that allows redirecting a file shared via the system Share system so it can be saved with the system native file picker) and [Vidya Music](https://github.com/MateusRodCosta/vidya_music) (a  Flutter frontend acting as a player for [VIP Aersia](https://www.vipvgm.net/), a very popular video game music playlist that has been on the web for more than 14 years).

-  [Fedora Linux](https://fedoraproject.org/) Contributor since 2021. 

  - ✒️ I usually write for [Fedora Magazine](https://fedoramagazine.org/), mainly about Fedora Silverblue and sometimes technical tutorials. - 🗃 Due to the death of Flash and the death of the Cartoon Network websites (being turned into redirects to the CN section on Max), I have been working on slowly archiving the Brazilian variants of old Cartoon Network games (mainly focusing on Shockwave and Flash formats) into [Flashpoint](https://flashpointarchive.org/)

  - 🗃 As a side effect I have helped on adding the pt-BR versions (including creating the lost translations) into [the web ports of the Cartoon Cartoon Summer Resort and Scooby Doo Hollywood Horror games](https://github.com/mattbruv/ccsr). ([Hosted version](https://mattbruv.github.io/ccsr/))
