# RollingElementBearingFaultDiagnosis-Data
Dataset for Rolling Element Bearing Fault Diagnosis example in Predictive Maintenance Toolbox.
The data is sourced from http://data-acoustics.com/measurements/bearing-faults/bearing-2/.
The data is provided under a [Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/). Mathworks Inc. has obtained permission from the data owner [Eric Bechhoefer](mailto:eric@gpms-vt.com) to use the data for commercial purpose. Please contact the owner [Eric Bechhoefer](mailto:eric@gpms-vt.com) for any other commercial uses.
## Instruction
Click **'Clone or download'** button of the repository and select **'Download Zip'**. Save the zip file in the same directory as the example live script. Then run the live script.
## Modification of the original data
The orginal dataset contains 6 folders:
- 1 - Three Baseline Conditions
- 2 - Three Outer Race Fault Conditions
- 3 - Seven More Outer Race Fault Conditions
- 4 - Seven Inner Race Fault Conditions
- 5 - Analyses
- 6 - Real World Examples
This repository only contains data of the first 4 folders. The data is re-organized and split into ```train_folder``` and ```test_folder```. For the full dataset, see http://data-acoustics.com/measurements/bearing-faults/bearing-2/.
