# ars-permalink
[ActiveRecordSchema](https://github.com/mcasimir/active_record_schema) permalink with [FriendlyId](https://github.com/norman/friendly_id)
## Installation
``` rb
gem "ars-permalink"
```
``` sh
rails g ars-permalink:install
rake db:migrate
```
## Usage
Call `#permalink` inside a model
``` rb
class Post
permalink
field :title
end
```
and then run `rails g migration:from` option to let ActiveRecordSchema generate the required migration
_eg._
rails g migration:from post
### Specify a field to derive permalink
``` rb
class User
field :name
permalink :name
end
```
### Use with history
``` rb
class Post
permalink :history => true
field :title
end
```
