# Torque Token
Welcome to the Torque Token repository, a pioneering project on the Etherklink blockchain, a smart rollup on Tezos. The Torque Token is engineered to revolutionize transactions and smart contract interactions within the Tezos ecosystem, offering users enhanced efficiency, security, and flexibility.
## Project Overview
The Torque Token leverages the unique features of the Etherklink blockchain to offer a distinct approach to smart contract execution, prioritizing user-centric functionalities and sustainable practices. By building on Etherklink, the Torque Token initiative aims to minimize transaction costs, accelerate processing times, and introduce a robust tokenomics model beneficial for all ecosystem participants.
## Features
- **Efficient Transactions**: Utilizing Etherklink's smart rollups for faster and more cost-effective transactions on the Tezos blockchain.
- **Enhanced Security**: Adopting cutting-edge security measures to protect user assets and data within the Tezos ecosystem.
- **Decentralized Finance (DeFi) Integration**: Seamless integration with DeFi platforms on Tezos for lending, borrowing, and yield farming.
- **Community Governance**: Empowering Torque Token holders with voting rights on pivotal project decisions, fostering a truly decentralized governance structure.
- **Eco-friendly Initiatives**: A commitment to sustainability, leveraging the energy-efficient nature of the Tezos blockchain and supporting green projects.## Getting Started
