202405 is a larger deviation than previous releases. As part of upstreaming changes to EDK2, the commits were reviewed, squashed, and some were dropped.

Due to these changes, there may be more work required to bring an existing platform up to 202405 compatibility. 



Breaking Changes-dev

- SourceLevelDebugPkg has been dropped. Please reevaluate useage of this Package.

- SecurityPkg\Library\HashLibTdx\HashLibTdx.inf has been dropped. Please use another instance of HashLib.

- SecurityPkg\Library\SecTpmMeasurementLib\SecTpmMeasurementLibTdx.inf has been dropped. Please use another instance of TpmMeasurementLib.

- SecurityPkg\Tcg\TdTcg2Dxe\TdTcg2Dxe.inf has been dropped. Please use Tcg2Dxe. 

- TOOL_CHAIN_TAG=GCC and TOOL_CHAIN_TAG=GCC5 are both supported. GCC will become the normal in a future release.



Main Changes-dev

- SecurityPkg:Add EFI Device Authentication Signature Database and SPDM

- Out of bound read in Tcg2MeasureGptTable() and TcgMeasureGptTable()

- SecurityPkg/SecureBootConfigDxe: Should not call HiiGetBrowserData() in FORM_OPEN action callback

- Heap Buffer Overflow in Tcg2MeasureGptTable()

- SecurityPkg\OpalPasswordDxe: BrowserCallback() cannot be used within FORM_OPEN browser action

- Tcg2Pei: Assert issue in SyncPcrAllocationsAndPcrMask() with a specific configuration
